Installation of Vista: no problems at all, VS.NET installation also no problems. But then the difficulties start to pop up. I now have problems installing these Microsoft packages: - WebApplicationProjectSetup.msi: Access to path c:\progfiles..\IDE\..installstate denied, i manually added file and give normal users permission to write it and now the installation works. - Microsoft WSE 3.0.msi - AtlasSetup.msi, same as first one no acces to installstate. grrrr..
Please make sure that installation carried out by someone with admin rights also have actually admin rights and do not fail on stup things like access denied!
p.s. running with unrestricted trustlevel did not solve the problem

Installations failing
When you say "running with unrestricted trustlevel did not solve the problem", are referring to disabling UAP? -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

It's UAC related :o) Try this: http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?subcats/security/disableuap
If that doesn't work, follow this: http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?subcats/security/localadminlogin ... then login as the administrator and install it there :o)
